In reply to Kerin Shah. Hello Kerin, As mentioned in the tips, I have used the syrup from the canned pineapples in this recipe. However, if you don't have the pineapple syrup at hand, you can prepare regular sugar syrup and flavor it with pineapple essence. I hope that helps.😊
