– I had leftover cooked rice so just roasted this in a little ghee with the whole spices.
– After assembling In a glass tray and covering with foil, I baked it at about 150 deg C for 45 minutes.
– I did not deep fry onions. I know it would have enhanced the flavour but I avoid deep frying as much as I can.

The end result was still very good.
