I don’t See where it is mentioned in the recipe to proof in the oven. I just See where it says to bake it.

I showed this recipe to my 13 year old son and he immediately wanted to make them! We made them in to individual knots as out working surface wasn’t that big. I cooked half in the oven and half in the air fryer. SO GOOD!! My son is not disappointed ❤️

Sarah, your dough was stiff, even after adding an extra 1/2 cup of water; hmm.. wondering what could have gone wrong because this recipe uses a 3:1 ratio, which is quite suitable for the garlic knots. Do keep me posted; I think even with the stiff dough, you should get a great rise and soft garlic knots.
